About Nikki (me)
My journey into this work wasn’t a straight path, it was born from breaking, rebuilding, and choosing myself over and over again.
I am a survivor of domestic abuse. For a long time, I felt trapped, small, and disconnected from who I truly was. Leaving was the hardest and bravest thing I’ve ever done. Not long after, I experienced a mental breakdown that was a point where everything I had been holding together finally fell apart. I felt completely lost.
But sometimes life dismantles us so we can rebuild properly.
With the love and support of my family and close friends, I slowly began to find my way back to myself. It wasn’t instant. It was messy. It was painful. It required courage I didn’t know I had. But piece by piece, I rebuilt my life to be stronger, softer, and more aligned.
One of my proudest and most emotional chapters was watching my daughter leave for university. Seeing her step into her independence filled me with pride beyond words… but it also brought a deep, unexpected emptiness. The quiet. The space. The identity shift that women don’t talk about enough. That transition cracked something open in me too.
Instead of shrinking, I chose expansion.
I took a leap of faith and moved to Wales a decision that felt terrifying and freeing all at once. That move wasn’t just geographical. It was spiritual. It was the moment I fully committed to creating a life that felt peaceful, purposeful, and aligned with who I truly am.
From that space, Sacred Spaces – Healing by Nikki and Time for You Retreats were born.
Everything I offer from holistic massage, Reiki, life coaching, empowerment circles, oracle guidance — sits under one umbrella: sacred spaces for healing. Spaces where women can exhale. Where they can unravel safely. Where they can remember who they are beneath the noise.
I don’t do this work because I read about it in a book.
I do this work because I’ve lived it.
If you are in a season of rebuilding, rediscovering, or simply needing space to breathe — I see you. And you are not alone.

About Debbie
Debbie’s journey into this chapter of her life was shaped by profound loss, courage, and an unwavering decision to begin again.
Over the years, Debbie experienced the heartbreaking loss of loved ones. Grief has a way of changing you, and for a while, it left her feeling empty, questioning who she was without the people who had anchored her world. Life felt unfamiliar. Heavy. Quiet in ways she hadn’t expected.
Then at 60, she faced another life-altering transition and that was a divorce.
An age where many people settle, Debbie was starting over.
It forced her to question everything, her identity, her future, what truly mattered. And instead of shrinking back, she made a bold and brave decision.
She moved to Wales. Leaving her daughter and granddaughter in Manchester was one of the hardest parts of Debbie’s move. Family means everything to her, and the distance wasn’t easy. But with her daughter’s full support and encouragement to follow her own path, Debbie found the strength to choose herself knowing their bond would only grow stronger, not weaker.
Buying herself a beautiful caravan tucked away in the mountains, she chose peace, nature, and a fresh start. But the move wasn’t without its challenges. She arrived not really knowing anyone. There were moments of loneliness, of wondering if she had made the right decision.
Starting again in a new place takes courage. Doing it at 60 takes extraordinary courage.
Thankfully, Debbie has always been naturally outgoing and the kind of woman who will talk to anyone in a queue, on a walk, or over a cup of tea. Through that openness, she slowly began forming new friendships. She joined women’s groups, embraced walking and biking through the Welsh countryside, and started rebuilding her world one connection at a time.
And somewhere along that journey, she met Nikki! The rest, as they say, is history.
Debbie brings warmth, lived experience, humour, and deep empathy to everything she does. She understands loss. She understands loneliness. She understands what it feels like to question your entire life and still choose to step forward anyway.
Her story is proof that it is never too late to start again, to create joy, and to build a life that feels like your own.

Our Friendship Journey
We met on a retreat, two women on our own healing journeys, not knowing, that moment would change everything.
I remember saying to Debbie, “You just need to dance like no one is watching.”
It was a simple sentence, but it landed deeply with her as it held so much meaning to her.
Life took us in slightly different directions for a while and we drifted, as people sometimes do. But one day Debbie phoned and said, “Can we meet for a brew?” That cup of tea turned into hours of shared stories, honest conversations, and real connection. We bonded over everything we’d both walked through and the losses, the rebuilding, the courage it took to start again.
From that day, our friendship grew stronger.
It wasn’t long before we realised we shared the same vision and that was to create retreats where women feel truly seen, heard, and held. We wanted to offer the kind of space we had once needed ourselves.
We had so many names written down, but in true “trust the process” fashion, we popped them into a hat and pulled one out.
Time for You Retreats.
The moment we read it, we both felt it. We got emotional. Excited. We just knew. The name captured everything we wanted our women to experience, space, care, and permission to choose themselves.
Two years later, we’re now planning our fifth retreat.
And it all started with a dance.
We openly share our journeys because we believe honesty creates connection. We are not here as perfect women but we are here as real women who have lived, lost, rebuilt and grown. By being open about our experiences, we hope others feel less alone and more supported as they navigate their own path.

"Intentionality is the heart of every healing journey."
